The Work of Peace: An Evening with Dr. Grant Leuning, a peace activist visiting from Gwangjeong Village
This is a rare opportunity to hear from a peace activist who resides at Gwangjeong Peace Village on Jeju Island, South Korea. There, activists have been resisting a naval base and its ideological and ecological damage for more than a decade, fighting alongside radical Catholic clergy.
The Life, Peace & Justice Ministry Fair was a success
SDCW volunteers had a lovely time at the Fair this weekend. The East Lawn of The Immaculata, on the University of San Diego campus, was lined with about 20 tables from local peace and justice organizations.

We are looking for donations of new socks and underwear for all genders and sizes. In coordination with Showers of Blessings at St. Paul’s Cathedral, we will be distributing clothing to our unsheltered neighbors after they take showers.
